LiteracyIn Kindergarten, we use the Super Kids program created by Zaner-Bloser. Super Kids focuses on letter sounds to help build a strong foundation for reading. With this program, students will learn their letter sounds, letter blending, word families, rhyming, handwriting, journaling, and much more. Super Kids makes reading fun and exciting for the Kindergarteners by incorporating songs, characters, and games. In Kindergarten, we also have daily centers and guided reading practice to differentiate learning to meet all the kids needs!

MathAt St. Isidore, we use My Math as a resource to help further our knowledge of math concepts. Math in Kindergarten is hands on and fun! We work on counting, number recognition, patters, shapes, addition, subtraction, and much more! We practice math daily in our centers to work with small groups on concepts we are practicing. This helps give students the individualized attention that they need.

ReligionKindergarten is the beginning of creating a relationship with God and learning the importance of prayer. We use Call to Faith program to connect bible stories to our everyday life. Kindergarten attends weekly mass with the rest of the school. We learn to be reverent in Church and participate in prayer.
